Are you looking for a flexible and exciting job? Then you are hopefully exactly right in the Taxi/Limousine team of the Office for Mobility!
An employee reports on her experiences in the Taxi/Limousine team:
What I like about the team:
We are about 10 people and work in a young, dynamic team. The job offers me flexible working hours and the opportunity to work partly from home. I like the customer contact at the counter. I find it exciting to be regularly in contact with different cultures. In addition, the cooperation in the team is top! The tasks are varied and I have many insights into legal topics on a daily basis.
These are my main tasks:
I receive permit applications and notifications in the field of taxi and limousine services at the counter or in writing. I analyze the submitted documents and in most cases decide independently on the permit applications. Together with my colleagues, I take turns managing our hotline. On the phone, I provide customers with information and process notifications from law enforcement authorities, police, and the road traffic office. I support the team in creating information overviews for the web presence. About half a day per week, you will monitor automated vehicles directly as a security person or at a remote monitoring cockpit and document the interactions.
What you bring:
If this sounds exciting to you and you would like to apply with us, you should bring the following:
- A commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent education
- Good language skills (especially African languages and Arabic are an advantage)
- We are mostly digital – therefore you should have excellent IT user skills. Additional IT knowledge is an advantage so that you can actively support our IT specialist
- You keep your sense of humor when dealing with demanding customers
- You are willing to staff the counters at the road traffic offices in Zurich and Winterthur on a rotating basis
- Graduates as well as students or continuing education participants are warmly welcome
Contact:
Have we aroused your interest? Then we definitely should get to know each other.
