OM Pharma continues its journey towards incredible global growth! For this reason, we are hiring a Senior Business Development Manager (out-Licensing) to strengthen our Business Development department, at our headquarter in Meyrin/Geneva. Reporting to our Chief Business Development Officer, your mission is to identify and engage into new out-licensing partnerships, in particular for new OM Pharma products in the US and in EU.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Define the appropriate partnering action plan for each product and geography and validate it with the Executive Committee
• Prepare tailor-made partnership packages to share with partners in coordination with key internal and external stakeholders
• Create a long and short list of potential partners
• Prepare internal business case including forecast with commercial functions
• Lead deal negotiation and coordinate contracting with key functions
• Develop and facilitate consolidation of partnering relationships
• Steer activities around the launch of the partnership
• Ensure seamless transition to commercial organization
To make this mission a success, we are looking for someone with the following profile:
• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences or equivalent
• 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry or pharmaceutical consulting
• 3 years' experience in partnering out-licensing, ideally in US and European markets with a track record of successful partnership deals and launches.
• Solid understanding of partnership agreement including IP clauses
• Strategic and operational perspective in drafting and negotiating agreement
• Strong negotiation skills and outgoing personality
• Fluent in English
