We are looking for a
PR & Communications Manager (50-100%)
Workplace : Primary work location flexible (Zurich, Biel or Renens) - regular presence in Renens a must.
Start date: Immediately or by agreement
Your duties
· Act as a media spokesperson on behalf of the company and address questions and complaints
· Develop and execute an internal and media communication plan including strategy, goals and channels
· Coordinate all public relations activities and ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
· Plan, edit and write in French, English and German for a variety of internal and external channels (intranet, email newsletters, press releases, FAQs)
· Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results to the Management Board
· Plan and execute internal and corporate events
Additionally, reporting directly to the CEO, the PR & Communication Manager provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship and ensures the efficient functioning of the CEO office. He/she serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO and also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams.
What you bring
Hard skills:
· Studies and/or background in advertising, communications, public relations, journalism and/or social media management to step into a role that is primarily public relations and content-creation focused
· Experience in public relations and communication
· Exceptional writing and editing skills
· Fluent in German and English, with a good command of French (writing and speaking)
Soft skills:
· Strong communication skills, combined with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking; mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented
· Driven personality with a confident and professional manner, team player with ability to work well in an international team and in a small, entrepreneurial environment
· Able to prioritize conflicting needs, to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and to handle confidential matters with discretion
· Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and able to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities under deadline pressure
