R&D automation & software development engineer (M-F) – 100%

For our site in Ecublens we are looking for an

 

You ensure, alone and/or in close collaboration with R&D team, the development of software and related documents for the R&D products in the pipeline both for internal and external customers.

 

Your role

- Active participation in the development of control-command systems for R&D

- Develop new control systems for R&D in collaboration with R&D team

- Writing and/or supervising of technical documentation in collaboration with the project manager (FDS, HDS, SDS, user manual, etc.)

- Programming of automatons and supervisions

- Configuration of PLCs, HMIs and decentralized field devices

- Support to commissioning technicians (back office)

- Commissioning of complex installations

 

Your profile

- You have a degree in automation and have experience in an industrial environment (minimum 2 years)

- You master programming languages for programmable control systems (IEC 61131-3 standards)

- Knowledge of GAMP5 guide line.

- Knowledge of 21CFR part 11 for electronic record & electronic signature.

- You are familiar with Siemens software tools (TIA Portal, STEP 7). Beckhoff a plus.

- You have good knowledge of English

- You are willing to travel regularly (sometimes up to 40% of the time)
