Project Employee: Fixed-term 60%
The Center for Research and Knowledge Transfer is looking for a committed individual for a varied project position "Central Administration of Teaching and Research Materials – ZeMa" starting January 1, 2026 or by arrangement, fixed-term until the end of 2026 (with the option of extension). As a project employee, you are part of a team that works together with specialists from the library, support center, facility management, and IT on a strategically important project with impacts on teaching, research, and services.
- Support in the development of a central material management system (physical storage and logistics processes, software)
- Participation in the inventory of physical and electronic stocks (library, support center, ALL4all lab, offices, seminar rooms, basement stocks)
- Support in the development of processes for acquisition, storage logistics, lending, and archiving
- Recording of materials and management of the material data stocks (e.g., tests, devices, consumables)
- Organization and documentation of coordination with specialist departments, project management, and interfaces with various internal organizational units
- Participation in the development of usage concepts
- Strong interest in the management and documentation of materials and technologies
- Background in libraries/toy libraries or in the higher education sector is an advantage
- Experience with various modern logistics systems (software and physical storage)
- Service-oriented demeanor, good communication skills (German at least level B2), and interest in team-oriented project work
- Affinity for organizational tasks, precise data maintenance, and efficient interface coordination
- Carefulness and accuracy in handling physical materials, technical devices, and digital information
- Quick comprehension and structured, reliable working style
- Willingness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting and carrying boxes and materials)
