About the position
This position is accountable for managing the Sales in the designated territory supporting the revenue targets and growth in the OEM/Component channel. Driving revenue & growth through existing distribution partners and positioning CPI for grow into new regions and segments through expansion of the distribution network. Working closely with customer service, product management and production to ensure CPI products meet customer specification while maintaining a high level of customer focus.
This is a strategic, highly visible role where you can have a direct impact on the results of our total organization. In this newly formed team, you will be part of shaping our strategy while building on the strong base we have as CPI. Drive sales revenue and market share by managing a defined territory to achieve quota via cold calling and self-generating leads.
This role is based out of your home office in Switzerland, Italy or France, no relocation is required.

You enjoy having overall responsibility for generating sales leads while selling payment automation solutions to achieve profitable growth and sales targets. You know how to interface directly with partners to establish multi-tiered relationships and you have a clear understanding of the areas of value creating.
You have the ability to gather, link, and co-ordinate market trends and competitor activity to the advantage of CPI.
You must have strong executive communicative skills, market knowledge and understanding of establishing networks within the channels.
You must also have well demonstrated success in Strategic Account Selling. Build a sales pipeline through lead generation activities, assisted by inbound marketing efforts. You utilize a consultative sales process to identify, qualify and secure new clients in Europe.
You must be able to manage the end-to-end sales process for opportunities across select company products and services including initial client communication, web-based and onsite presentations, contract negotiations and closure.
About the team
We are a global sales team headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, USA with multiple engineering, manufacturing and administrative locations around the world.
Responsibilities and Duties
o Manage relationships, sales and strategic positioning with our OEM and distributor partners in Italy, France, and Switzerland, a critically important aspect of our business that requires a high degree of independence, trust and integrity.
o Strategically position CPI within assigned geographies to achieve high market share. Route to market, pricing, product portfolio commercial management need to be established and implemented with precision. Must be internally motivated and committed to completing objectives set forth by CPI.
o Ability to understand and effectively communicate the technology used by CPI to produce improved customer operations and profits.
o Achieve Sales, KPI’s and overall profitability goals for your respective area as well as the business.
o The ability to manage and develop channel partners to achieve sales results. Must effectively work with multiple internal departments in a classic organization (i.e. Product Management, Finance, Technical Support, & Customer Service) to achieve defined business results.
o Recommend and implement pricing and promotional programs that will drive top line sales growth and bottom line profit.
Qualifications and Required Skills
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
o Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales management
o Experience in driving sales through different route-to-market, i.e. OEM and distribution models.
o Existing knowledge and relationships in the served industries is a plus
o Bilingual in Italian/French and fluent Business English (spoken and written)
