After Sales Service Engineer

Headquartered in Duillier near Nyon, Synova is the pioneer of a revolutionary hybrid laser processing technology — Laser MicroJet®. Synova provides state-of-the-art high precision material processing in the semiconductor industry as well as for emerging applications in the semiconductor, diamond, watch industry and currently also in the energy industry.

 

To support Synova’s activities, we are looking for an

 

In this position you will be responsible for :

 

• • Installation and commissioning of new machines (3-5 axes)
  • Fast acting on customer service requests (repair visits) and maintenance visits
  • Escalation of recurring problems
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Customer’s remote support (phone, email, remote connection)
  • Customer training within and outside the company

 

For this position, we are looking for candidates with the following profile:

 

• • Electronic/automation Technician or Engineer with a good knowledge of machine tool industry
  • Experience in Field Service an asset
  • Knowledge in laser technology or optics is considered as an advantage
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Versatile, autonomous and rigorous
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willing to travel to Customer site up to 50% (mainly in Europe and occasionally south-Africa, China and US)
  • Fluent in French and English is required. 
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
  • CH/ Valid Swiss permit
