You will contribute in this position to the success of line and substation construction projects within the framework of Swissgrid's 2025 strategic network and the Confederation's 2050 energy strategy.

Your tasks
In this exciting role, you are responsible for planning and managing projects to expand the electrical lines and substations that make up the electricity transmission network.
- You monitor and optimize the project portfolio assigned to you, both in network maintenance and development
- You ensure coordination between the internal Engineering team, planners, and external service providers under your responsibility
- From project phase 31 to 53 of the "SIA 112 Service Model", you assume, as overall project manager or partial project manager, the entrepreneurial responsibility for lines and substations
- You manage and control project costs (investment validation, planning, budget compliance and monitoring), deadlines, and achievement of each project's objectives
- You determine, evaluate, and procure services from planners and specialized companies, etc., and assume responsibility for each contract
- You structure network expansion projects into different logical and precise task packages and mandate and lead planners and external service providers to complete the packages respecting quality, deadlines, and costs
- You participate in the overall decision-making process regarding strategic, organizational, financial, and technical issues. You advise and support management on any matter requiring a high level of technical expertise
- You work to apply directives related to occupational safety, health protection, and environmental protection, thus making an important contribution to our "safety first" culture
- You support the Communications department in its public relations tasks for your network expansion projects.
Your profile
- You hold an engineering degree (or have excellent technical knowledge or have completed continuing education in infrastructure project management)
- Project management certifications (IPMA, PMI, SIA, or similar) are an asset
- You have several years of experience in planning, studying, and implementing complex infrastructure projects, projects in facility construction, or electrotechnical systems
- You master the SIA method for implementing complex multi-level infrastructure projects
- You are able to delegate tasks or work packages. You ensure the achievement of objectives by defining precise intermediate goals
- You are familiar with management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001)
- You know how to take responsibility, work in a team, and independently. Ability to develop concepts and communication skills are welcome.
- You master MS Office programs and know SAP-PM or comparable applications.
- You speak fluent French and German. Good knowledge of English and Italian is a plus.
