Your Tasks
- Technical and personnel leadership as well as further development of the Substations team including resource and task planning
- Planning, designing, and implementation of new, expansion, and conversion projects of substations – from conception to commissioning – for AEW substations as well as for third parties
- Ensuring reliable and cost-optimized technical standards of AEW substations
- Development of technical solutions in the areas of switchgear, transformers, cable systems, and construction considering costs, deadlines, and quality
- Ensuring plant and supply quality according to IMS through analyses, concepts, and continuous optimizations
- Technical review of plant concepts and ensuring compliance with current standards and norms in planning, construction, operation, and maintenance
- Responsibility for complete, up-to-date technical documentation of the substations
- Budget responsibility including planning, control, and reporting
- Building up and actively further developing third-party business (engineering and project services for external clients)
Your Profile
- Completed degree in electrical engineering (BSc) with a focus on electrical energy systems or equivalent
- Business management training is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience (approx. 10 years) in the field of substations, network infrastructure, and energy systems
- Solid project management and engineering experience in substation construction – across all voltage levels
- Routine in planning and implementing new/conversion projects as well as in collaborating with various stakeholders
- Proven ability to provide engineering services for third parties and professionally support external customers
- Strong leadership, confident communication skills, and a structured, solution-oriented working style
