Teamlead Transportation & Distribution (m/f/d)

As Teamlead Transportation & Distribution, you take over the operational management of the departments and ensure smooth processes in the areas under your responsibility. In addition, you are the interface to internal departments as well as external partners and ensure a process- and cost-optimized transport procurement. Your area of responsibility
- You lead the Transportation & Distribution department and further develop your team.
- You negotiate and procure all transport services and coordinate the timely movement of finished goods and raw materials for sea, air, and land shipments.
- You are responsible for budget planning and cost control of the relevant cost centers.
- You procure consumables for logistics.
- You support the implementation of logistics projects.
- You monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., number of packages) and derive measures from them.
- You take responsibility for the mailroom and courier services.
- You keep an eye on new legal requirements (e.g., customs) or obligations towards postal and other service providers and implement them.
What is important to us
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the procurement of transport services.
- Ideally, you have already gained experience in customs and preference matters.
- You bring assertiveness and can clearly represent decisions.
- You convince with negotiation skills and confident appearance.
- You think analytically, networked, and process-oriented.
- You are characterized by good leadership and social skills.
- You have good English skills in spoken and written form and can communicate confidently with international partners.
- You work exclusively on-site at our HQ in Sursee.
