OVERALLPURPOSE
To support the integration of the Maitland Private Client business acquired in January 2022, this role will focus on the design, development, deploymentandmaintenanceofmeaningfulManagementInformation that can be used by the whole of the combined group in a consistent manner. This role will also provide critical support for the project to upgrade our primary accounting system and to consolidate legacy platforms on to this system.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
This role is part of the Finance Systems and Management Information (MI) team, reporting to the Director – Finance Systems & MI. This role works closely with colleagues across the Finance team, particularly in Financial Control and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) but also including Finance Business Partners and colleagues in the Systems and MI team.

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Build relationships with Financial Business Partners, Group Head of FP&A, the Head of Commercial Finance, and members of the Financial Control team to gather the reporting requirements and develop and maintain solutions in order to ensure their needs are met
- Work closely with the IT Systems & BI team in order to develop MI that meets the gathered requirements consistently
- Test developed reports in order to identify issues in logic or inconsistencies with requirements so that these can be addressed before reports are published
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of reporting that is being developed and help design controls to guard against inaccurate reporting
- Training of end users
- Gather migration data and review the results of migration processes from legacy system’s to the Group’s primary accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor level degree or equivalent

Specialisation in Accounting, Statistics or Information Systems (recommended)

Production of Management information for use by the CFO and business

Experience of using Power BI or equivalent would be an advantage

+3 years’ experience in Financial Control of other Group Finance function

Been involved is major system migrations, particulary with experience in preparing and reviewing the migration data
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- English first language
- Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint–Advanced
- Knowledge of MS Dynamix AX/NAV (orothermulti-ccy ERPsystem) would be an advantage
- Ability to deal with management and staff at all levels and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven data analysis skills
- Ability to train users of systems at all levels
- Great attention to detail, alongside excellent organisational skills
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to deal with third parties in a professional and confidential manner
