Attached to the Department of Medicine , the endocrinology, diabetology and metabolism service provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients suffering from endocrine, metabolic diseases or diabetes. Patient care is provided in collaboration with other HUG services.
Job Description
Under the supervision of your hierarchy, you ensure quality medical services, both clinically, administratively, and organizationally for the assigned activities.
You perform medical acts in accordance with the ethical rules of the profession and recognized medical practices.
You timely communicate medical decisions and all necessary information to the care team as well as to care partners.
You inform the patient simply, accurately, and fairly and provide information to relatives, the attending physician, and insurers within the limits of professional secrecy.
You participate in the on-call or duty system as well as in the duty report.
You participate in seminars, colloquia, or internal theoretical training conferences and contribute through presentations.
You contribute to the training of trainee doctors.
Qualifications
You hold the federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
You have solid experience in general internal medicine and a strong interest in endocrinology, diabetology, and metabolism.
You have clinical experience in hospital and/or outpatient settings.
With excellent communication skills in multidisciplinary teams and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, and committed person. Additionally, you have demonstrated strong adaptability skills.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
