Who we are looking for
A curious, fast-learning team-player with a strong analytical mindset. The purpose of the internship is to provide the individual with exposure to controlling matters in order to gain an understanding of how a controlling department operates and what are the associated responsibilities.
Your duties
- Perform financial planning, controlling, reporting and analysis on a designated business scope with support of senior colleagues and under supervision of his line management.
- He/she helps steer the business to reach financial objectives while managing the level of risk.
- He/she maintains an independent view on the financial performance, and contributes to ensuring a solid control framework and compliance with corporate rules.
- He/she contributes to assigned analyses on transversal projects.
- Close collaboration with controlling and finance colleagues as well as with some business stakeholders.
What you bring
- Qualified for a Master Thesis in a Swiss university (or equivalent) in Finance / Controlling (e.g. MCCF)
- Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team with flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving competencies
- Thoroughness and integrity (while avoiding perfectionism)
- Ability to work in both French and English
- Proficiency in MS office Excel
- Starting date: as soon as possible
