Internal Auditor

We are looking to hire a young internal auditor with very good accounting and analytical skills. Internal auditors are expected to be organized with problem-solving skills and to deliver on tight deadlines. You should have a solid aptitude for math, strong IT skills and excellent communication skills.

As Internal Auditor, you will prepare, plan, support and execute internal audit as well as special or ad-hoc audits/investigations for Group of Companies to:
- provide assurance that business and operations risks are adequately mitigated
- ensure compliance to the Group policies & procedure.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and organize set of data for audit purpose
• Perform audit on business and financial practices, for them to be in line with applicable internal rules, laws, financial regulation and related requirements
• With the guidance of Head of Internal Audit, identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls
• Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice
• Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks
• Structure, compile and implement the annual Internal Audit plan
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Head of Internal Audit

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes

• Ideally, two years of work experience in an internal audit environment or at least proven exposure to internal audit
• Strong accounting and data-analysis skills
• Analytical thinker with very good conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent documentation and communication

Education, Languages & Computer Skills

• Degree in internal auditing, financial accounting or financial management
• Strong written English and French language skills, with other languages as a plus
• High level of proficiency with MS Office suite, incl. but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint, SAP a big plus
