Receptionist for the Urology Department
The Urology Department of the Surgery Department (DC) at CHUV is looking for a motivated and service-oriented receptionist, at a 100% activity rate.
The starting date is scheduled for March 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, medical research, and training.
The Urology Department at CHUV is one of the two university services in French-speaking Switzerland. It includes:
- a clinical inpatient unit with 18 beds (with access to 12 additional beds)
- a consultation sector
- a Neuro-Urology Center
- an Endoscopy Center
- as well as the management, in collaboration with the Oncology Department (DO), of the Interdisciplinary Prostate Center and the Interdisciplinary Bladder Center.
These structures allow comprehensive and coordinated management of urological pathologies, from diagnostic evaluation to interventional treatments.
Mission
- You ensure the reception of patients, their relatives, visitors, and collaborators, respecting the principles and guidelines of CHUV
- You handle the administrative management of outpatients, in accordance with the procedures defined by Patient Administrative Management
- You ensure communication and coordination between desk staff and with other services of the institution.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a reception role, ideally in a hospital environment
- You have knowledge of foreign languages (English, German, Italian), which is an asset
- You master common computer tools
- You have excellent listening skills, a strong sense of hospitality and service, as well as a strong team spirit
- You demonstrate adaptability, open-mindedness, flexibility, and good stress resistance.
