In its session of March 3, the Municipality

Validated the 2025-07 notice relating to the adoption of the strategic component of the regional management strategy for activity zones (SRGZA) of the Vaud Chablais and forwarded it to the communal council for its session in May 2025

Took note of the appointment of the new prefect of the Aigle district, Mr. Nicolas Croci Torti, who will take office on July 1, 2025

Validated the principle of integrating sustainability assessment (Boussole 21 tool) upstream of municipal projects with a one-year test phase, which will be followed by an evaluation

Validated the update and dissemination of the all-household "Aigle energy and climate encouragement program"

Granted a deadline until June 30, 2025, to the owner of Moulin-Neuf to vacate the premises, given that he decided not to comply with the measures required for the safety of the tenants of the place.

Validated the program for the public inauguration of the Town Hall scheduled for May 10

Took note of the decisions of the communal council taken during the session of March 6, 2025, namely:

Validated and signed the 2025 partnership agreement with the Gym Poussette course in Aigle

Validated the activities planned on June 3 for the international bicycle day for the staff of the CMC and the Municipality

Accepted that the escorts of 1P and 2P students on bus 101 work in pairs when the number of children exceeds 10 present to ensure everyone's safety

Validated the announcement for the competition for a position of agent.e in documentary information at the school library, on the site of the Dents-du-Midi college, following the resignation of the holder

Validated the hiring of a manager for the weekly markets in the city center

Took note of the Federal Court's decision which rejected the appeal of Mr. Bacca and Mr. Bellwald. They appealed against the decision of the Cantonal Court which refused to order the immediate stop of the district heating works in Aigle.

In its session of March 17, the Municipality

Decided to financially support the center of the Vaud federation of rural youth which will be held in July 2026 in the Chablais

Validated the concept of hanging works from the municipal collection in the renovated Town Hall

Decided to award orders to specialized companies, via the Canton of Vaud purchasing department (DAL), for the installation and connection of digital boards for the classrooms of Kiwi and Petit-pois colleges.

In its session of March 24, the Municipality

Authorized the evacuation of 3 portakabins from the Glariers site, which are no longer functional as is. The operation will be carried out in coordination with the future buyers.

In its session of March 31, the Municipality

Awarded to a specialized company the installation of a security system for the future bike station at the Station

Validated the announcement for a 100% "event" intern position on a one-year fixed-term contract

Decided to hire Ms. Malena Sardi as cultural delegate at 60% from July 1, 2025, due to the retirement of the current holder

Validated the offer from the Alpes vivantes association to carry out a hedgehog census project in the inhabited areas of the municipality

Decided to financially support the organization of the European Taekwondo Championships to be held at the CMC in November 2025

Validated the 2025-08 notice relating to the school agreement between Aigle, Corbeyrier and Yvorne and forwarded it to the communal council for adoption.
