The coal trader will oversee the procurement of coal, ensuring the efficient supply chain management. This role is based in Geneve and demands a strong understanding of purchasing strategies and market trends.

Description

• Manage the procurement process for coal, ensuring quality and cost-effective sourcing.
• Analyze market trends and assess supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future coal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities.

Profile

A successful COAL MERCHANT should have:

• A strong background in procurement, particularly within the Coal sector.
• Proficiency in supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Ukrainian are an advantage.
• A solid understanding of market trends and supplier management.
• A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain, or a related area.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
