Middleware Administrator

Job description

The position will be responsible for Middleware Administrator and DevOps chain of continuous integration, deployment, testing and monitoring of Middleware platform based on Software AG products and using Jenkins and SVN.

Your responsibilities

• Managing the rollouts and deployments of integration solutions in a very agile environment
• Managing the platform configuration upgrades and product fixes
• Monitoring the integration platform components and checking availability and overall platform health with high-focus on automation and proactive alerting
• Operational support of the integration solutions with objective on helping partners to use platform self-service features

Profile

• Computer Science academic background or engineering (Bsc or Msc)
• At least between 5-10  years of IT experience
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Good analytical skills and strong problem-solving skills

Professional requirements

• Experience in Administrator of Webmethods products from Software AG Webmethods products including but not limited to- Integration Server, Trading networks, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, Optimize, API Gateway in UNIX based environment is a must
• Well-versed with  DevOps principles and Continuous Integration experience is nice to have
• Jenkins, SVN and Linux/Unix environment systems experience is a must
• ANT and shell scripting
• Java performance tuning

Languages

• Proficiency in English and French or German will be an asset
