Industrial Supply Chain Senior Manager (m/f)

For its production site in Mex, Switzerland, BOBST is looking for its Industrial Supply Chain Senior Manager (m/f).

As Industrial Supply Chain Senior Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Manage a wide team across all Supply Chain departments (planning, customer service, transportation & logistics, warehouse and inventory management);

• Follow performance, develop talents, promote trainings;
• Define the Supply Chain strategy in agreement with global guidelines and company values ;
• Establish and monitor Supply Chain budget;
• Synchronize activities and work cross-functionally with other departments to understand internal and external customer needs in order to ensure the best customer service level;
• Define and monitor the KPIs for the department: supplier performance, stock level, spare part availability, production capacity;
• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement strategy within the whole team;
• Drive problem solving initiatives and build action plans to improve team results;
• Work closely with many departments (Sourcing, Finance, production, Sales, …) as a key interface for the plant;
• Participate in multi-site projects to ensure deployment of best practices within the group.

As experienced Industrial Supply Chain Manager, you will bring:

• Engineering educational background with specialization in Supply Chain
• Experience in a similar position in the mechanical sector ideally
• At least a 10-year experience in Supply Chain
• Important communication skills and ability to drive change
• Very good and proven management skills
• Experience working in multi-cultural environments
• Result oriented
• Very good knowledges when it comes to Lean Management
• At ease with SAP
• Speaking French and English fluently

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices.
