The Hotel Berchtold & B5 is an active and innovative enterprise with various gastronomic venues and a centrally located accommodation. The group includes the 3* Superior Hotel Berchtold, the popular Berchtold Restaurant, the trendy and well-frequented bar «B5 to be», the Bistro B5 and Lädeli B5 to go.

To complement our service team in Bistro B5 and Lädeli B5 to go, we are looking for an enthusiastic personality to start immediately or by arrangement as

Service Specialist (m/f/d) / 60 - 100%

Your tasks

• Managing your own station including cash handling and daily accounting
• Operating the Gastronovi cash register system
• Looking after, advising and serving our guests in the bistro and at the take-away counter
• Preparing the homemade food offerings (flammekueche, bagels, salads, etc.)
• General mise-en-place work for service preparation
• Adhering to quality and hygiene standards
• Working at events and banquets

Your profile

• You are an open and motivated person
• You enjoy being active
• You have experience in the hospitality industry
• You enjoy contact with guests, are a flexible team player and your humour remains intact even in hectic situations?
• You have very good German skills; English and French skills are an advantage
• You love coffee
