The Cybercrime Investigations & Data Analysis group of the IT Forensics & Cybercrime department is responsible for combating cybercrime and supports partners in technically highly complex investigations as well as perpetrator identification based on digital traces. Our work combines criminal police experience, technical expertise, and the use of the latest investigative and analytical methods.

Specialist Investigator Cybercrime (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%

What to expect
- Conducting complex investigations, technical analyses, and preparing expert reports and assessments in the field of cyber and high-tech crime
- Supporting, accompanying, and coordinating specialist investigative procedures at national and international levels
- Interrupting criminal actions by initiating proactive measures (Crime Disruption)
- Collaborating in interdisciplinary investigative teams and projects
- Lecturing and actively participating in the training and further education of corps members
- Participating in specialist working groups and committees
A later specialization in one of our specialist areas (Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies, OSINT & Darknet, or virtual undercover measures) is desirable.
What distinguishes you
- Police officer with a federal specialist certificate with proven experience in cybercrime investigations or a university degree in IT security and/or several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical and analytical understanding
- Willingness for continuous professional development

- Precise, goal-oriented working style and editorial skills
- Good English skills in spoken and written form
