Start date: Immediately or by arrangement
- You develop and implement a future-oriented procurement strategy for the entire organization (including departments, rectorate, and administration)
- You design the organizational form (central and decentralized procurement, shared services, governance models) in close coordination with stakeholders
- You lead and develop the procurement team – including recruitment, building structures and competencies
- You represent the procurement topic to stakeholders and communicate purposefully
- You ensure the management of procurement processes: from requirements determination through tenders and contract management to supplier management
- You optimize and standardize processes and policies in purchasing – focusing on efficiency, compliance, and sustainability
- You define requirements for procurement tools, evaluate them, and implement them
- You advise and support departments and specialist areas in all procurement matters
- You promote sustainability and innovation in procurement, e.g., through green procurement and digitalization
- Completed university degree (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, ideally in the public sector or in complex expert organizations
- Experience in strategic and operational alignment of procurement structures and their development
- Leadership experience and enthusiasm for building and further developing teams, also in decentralized structures
- Strong communication skills and social competence in dealing with different stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of contract law, public procurement regulations (especially Swiss legislation, BöB/VöB), and compliance
- Experience in evaluating and implementing procurement tools
- Resilient leader with pronounced analytical and conceptual skills
- Negotiation-level German
