Treasury back office executive
Your responsibilities
- Confirm transactions, processing settlements and control (Swift or otherwise)
- Resolution of possible issues related to treasury operations
- Manage intercompany settlement processes and all related postings in SAP
- Reconciliate bank transactions and ensure the daily movements in coordination with the accounting department.
- Ensure accurate accounting & reporting of Treasury transactions including monthly end closings to guarantee completeness and accuracy
- Maintain and follow the Group bank accounts and control the bank fees
- Accountable for treasury operations management reporting and proactive in the continuous process improvement, increase the automation of activities when possible and analyze the possibility of eliminating non-value-added activities
- Maintain, administration and development of the Treasury Management System, to guarantee control, and enable better visibility of treasury transactions
- Review regularly the processes and controls, ensuring all back office operational risks are suitably monitored and managed under a strict controlled framework.
Your competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent
- a few years of experience in back office or a similar position
- Knowledge of treasury products and processes (cash forecast, liquidity management, foreign exchange, metal hedging)
- Good knowledge in accounting
- Fluent spoken and written English and French
- Excellent knowledge in Excel and an ERP system (SAP ideally)
- Good analytical skills
- Respond well to pressure and to dynamic working environments
- The ability to work independently
- Ability to work within fixed and short timeframes
