Profile and professional experience:
- Higher education nursing diploma or equivalent (red cross recognition for foreign diplomas)
- Professional experience of a t least 5 years; experience and / or training in community health care; experience of working with young adults in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in French and English (oral and written)
- Intercultural and communication skills, proactive and service-oriented attitude
- Administrative and organizational skills
- Good knowledge and use of MS Office

As Health Advisor (Nurse), your main missions will be to:
- Providing nursing consultations to students and guide them in the health care network; provide first aid care; offer psycho-social support to students who experience personal or psychological problems; liaise with health care providers and the local health authorities if applicable
- Participating in the creation and development of health promotion campaigns; participating in the assistance to the GIHE management in the development and delivery of a health and safety culture, including emergency procedures and in crisis situations; participating in the "welfare ambassador" program
- Advising faculty and related department regarding student with health-related issues records according to the ethical and deontological requirements of their profession; collaborating in the integration of students with disabilities and learning differences
- Participating in the administrative management and logistics of the health service
- Maintaining student health records and ensuring transmission of relevant information to other health professionals
- Maintaining current CPR / first aid certification
- Participating in continuing professional development activities
