Deputy Head of Finance Department (100%)
The office forms the service center of the Zurich church community. In total, the church community employs around 500 staff members. For our dynamic finance team, we are looking for you as a committed person to start immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Operational support and deputy of the department head in all financial matters
- Administration of the operational software «Infoma Newsystem»
- Responsible for the correct accounting of the Zurich church community according to HRM2
- Support and further development of employees in the finance department
- Main contact person for financial audits and ensuring compliance
- Participation in the budget process of the Zurich church community as well as plausibility checks and analysis of the budgets of organizational units
- Building and optimizing controlling to ensure efficiency and transparency
- Implementation and further development of risk management and the internal control system (ICS)
Your profile
- Completed business studies with a focus on accounting & controlling, professional certificate in finance and accounting or equivalent further education at HF/FH/University level
- Several years of professional experience in the finance sector, ideally in the public-law environment
- Sound knowledge of accounting as well as experience in working with external audit firms
- Strong IT affinity and proficient use of common office applications
- Experience in leading and developing teams as well as enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
- High social competence and personal responsibility
