Child and Adult Protection Authority Graubünden | 80-100% | Chur
The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB is there for people in need. Those who need help and support can count on KESB. No day is like the other with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a safe future for vulnerable adults, families, children, and adolescents.
We are looking for a lawyer for the KESB Graubünden, North Bündner branch, starting February 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Support and advice to authority members and guardians on substantive and formal legal issues (child and adult protection law, marriage and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
- Independent handling of assigned cases, including transactions requiring approval (Art. 416 ZGB)
- Drafting decisions in assigned cases
- Secretariat activities for the authority
- Active participation in various project groups (e.g., practice development, legislative revisions)
- Taking minutes during hearings
- University degree in law
- Professional experience, preferably in a law firm or court, and solid knowledge of private law
- Independent, resilient, flexible, and networked thinking personality
- Very good oral and written expression in German; foreign language skills are an advantage
- Prudent, efficient, and precise working style
- High service orientation and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary service
- Proven social competence and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
