As a child and youth worker at the Freizeithaus Allschwil, you accompany children with their ideas, organize leisure activities, and participate in courses and events. Here you will find an exciting environment with great creative freedom and lively teamwork.

Starting January 1, 2026, the Freizeithaus Allschwil offers a position
with a focus on the care and leisure activities of children.
The Freizeithaus Allschwil operates according to a socio-cultural concept and offers open programs for parents with toddlers, children, and youth. Other areas of activity include events, courses and educational offerings, room and equipment rentals, as well as a bistro and catering. You will find an exciting field of activity with great creative freedom and a lot of responsibility in child and youth promotion.
Your tasks
• Co-responsible for the children's meeting place or managing individual opening hours
• Accompanying the children and supporting the implementation of their concerns and ideas
• Organizing the children's workshop, which is used during meeting times and workshop programs
• Planning and conducting animation, events, holiday programs, and courses for children and the family target group together with the team, helpers, and users
• Assisting with administrative tasks, room rentals, and maintenance of infrastructure
• Supervising and accompanying interns and civil service workers
You will take on 3 to 4 opening hours from Monday to Saturday. Working hours are determined in consultation with the team and planned monthly, taking into account the program and personal preferences. Willingness to work on weekends and evenings is mandatory.
Your profile
• Training in socio-cultural animation FH/HF or an equivalent qualification
• Experience in open work with children and participation processes
• Craft skills and creative talent
• High communication and social competence, assertiveness, and resilience
• Sense of responsibility, humor, openness, spontaneity, and flexibility
• Good German language skills and solid IT user knowledge (MS Office)
• Driver's license (B) and multilingualism are advantageous
