Production, Maintenance & Repairs Manager

Job description

You manage the production, maintenance and repair workshops composed of around 15 employees, located in Germany and in Switzerland. In this context, you are responsible for the efficient maintenance and repair of timekeeping equipment, as well as its complete lifecycle. You supervise the electronic and mechanical activities, while defining the production requirement in terms of quality, quantity, cost and deadline.

In collaboration with the timekeeping department and the industrialization manager, you create the production, repair and maintenance schedule, as well as the production orders. The assembly and testing of products and mechanical components, as well as various operations on electronic devices, are also part of your responsibility. As contact person with our suppliers, you guarantee the entry control of the spare parts. You ensure that maintenance, repair and production are in line with company policies and methodologies and that they are designed and implemented to optimize production. Finally, you develop and actively support your employees and promote Swiss Timing's values internally and externally.

Profile

You hold a degree in electronics or mechanics with good knowledge of basic electricity, electronics and mechanics and you are familiar with assembly. An understanding of the various current welding techniques, wiring and crimping requirements are also necessary.

You are able to work in a team environment and are rigorous and innovative. Visionary and solution-oriented, you have several years of experience in team management and in production workshop management. You also have a thorough knowledge of solution lifecycle management and planning.

You are stress resistant, flexible and available and you know how to create a positive and motivating working environment. You are able to reinvent processes and methodologies in a continuous improvement approach. 

Professional requirements

• Degree in electronics or mechanics
• Good knowledge of basic electricity, electronics and mechanics
• Several years of experience in team management and in production workshop management
• Visionary and solution-oriented
• Sports enthusiast
• Travel availability (approximately 20%) in Switzerland, Germany and abroad

Languages

• Fluent in French
• Excellent knowledges in English and German
