ABB’s Executive Recruiting team is searching for a talented and experienced Executive Recruiter who is driven to find the best and brightest corporate leaders in the world. This role will directly support all of ABB’s businesses in hiring Manager, Director, VP and SVP level talent throughout a given international region. You will be working closely with senior leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners to find the right talent at the right time.

Your responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers and critical stakeholders, operating as a trusted advisor and executive recruiting subject matter expert.

  • Partner with the appropriate leaders to understand business and staffing priorities.

  • Conduct consultative intake calls, provide status reports, assess challenges, and drive solution-oriented results.

  • Create search strategies, conduct research, interview candidates, perform thorough assessments, and present qualified candidates for critical searches.

  • Directly source your own external talent.

  • Recognize emerging talent trends and market dynamics in order to influence ABB’s executive search strategy.

  • Develop innovative techniques to improve how ABB sources and recruits executive talent.

  • Be a compelling communicator to effectively engage prospective candidates and executive stakeholders by articulating complex subjects in a polished and professional manner.

  • Has a proven track record of working on highly confidential executive searches with senior leadership.

  • Thrives in a performance, metric driven environment where quality/quantity of hires, hiring manager/candidate experience, time to fill, diverse slates and requisition load are measured.

  • Be proactive in driving strategic sourcing initiatives by continuously networking/pipelining for certain positions that open up on a recurring basis.

Your background

  • 7+ years of corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation and fulfillment in high-tech companies.

  • 3+ years of proven recruiting experience in executive search and placement in the European market.

  • Possesses highly developed passive recruiting skills, i.e.: prospect identification, cold calling, referral generation, and competitive intelligence gathering.

  • A proven track record in delivering a high-quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines.

  • Has an established network of senior executives in their designated region.

  • Experienced with recruiting in multiple countries in a given region.

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exhibits excellent judgment.

  • Inspires passion in others.

  • Thinks big, gets things done, and knows how to have fun.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
