In this challenging and new position, you will be part of the GEO EMEIA tender specialist team and responsibility for managing tender/procurement together with the local Sales & Service groups, in order to meet targets and fulfill demands in the market.

You will work closely with various functional experts across the GEO EMEIA to consolidate the required content and coordinate incoming requests to ensure a timely project submission. Further in that role, you will act as a key contributor to build & maintain IT & infrastructure knowledge in our centralized knoweldge repository and provide guidance to regional teams.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversees all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner. Review all customer and product related requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with a wide variety of involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals.
  • Create & maintain knoweldege around IT & Infrastructure topics and provid support to active projects in the pre-sales phase across the GEO EMEIA.
  • Coordinating incoming bid requests and proposal responses on IT & Ifrastructure related topics. Organize and track requests and responses using the company databases. Within this roles responsibility, is to maintain and update this centralized knowledge database regularly.
  • Act as a coach for leading regional sales staff such as Account Managers and Sales Executives on IT related aspects in tender projects. Guide staff through the entire tender project cycle and support them in managing large deals.
  • Analyze requested clinical workflow in submitted tender documents and translate them into Varian solutions captured in the knowledge repository for use in future projects.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related disciplines from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant IT experience or equivalent of modern enterpirse IT experience, in an international organization or multinational corporation.
  • Experience on Microsoft Server OS products (preferred MCSA certified) and Virtualization (Citrix and VMWare mainly).
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and subscription financial model is preferred.
  • Understanding on VOS products such as ARIA/Eclipse field experience.
  • Industry-specific (customer requirements and Radiotherapy clinical workflow) knowledge and background.
  • Showing proficiency in the CRM solution Salesforce and Microsoft tools.
  • Demonstrating previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language.
  • Providing proven project management experience, interacting with various departments such as sales, service, legal, compliance, marketing, etc.
  • Showing an understanding of the tender project process & of commercial terms.
  • Ability to adapt and to integrate into, the customer’s technical/operational & safety environment.
