Job description

The Product Manager is responsible for the management/development of the customization projects and collections. The focus is to manage and develop actual and future customization concepts. The responsibilities include:

  • create and launch new customization concepts
  • ensure the timely development and rollout of the assigned concepts
  • define and fine tune with creative management the middle/long term strategy
  • develop briefing for the creative team on concepts and design criteria specific to the project
  • manage and lead all the aspects of the customization concepts through involved departments
  • collect market trends and competitor information relevant regarding customization
  • carry out margin analysis and calculate pricing
  • ensure legal protection with Product Coordinator
  • create and hold product presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • control and correct marketing pictures & PR texts
  • support the Head of Product & Product Development in ad-hoc tasks

In order to complete the task with the team, the Customization Manager has to accomplish the following specific tasks:

  • lead, develop and challenge the customization team
  • build strong relationships with internal & external suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to constantly discover potential for innovation and improve development processes
  • know the demands of the subsidiaries and be an ambassador for the SWATCH customization concepts
  • analyse sales performance and competition and draw the right conclusions
  • budget responsibility for assigned projects


  • University degree, preferably in Marketing/ Product Management
  • 5 years plus work experience in a similar position
  • Experienced user of Powerpoint/Excel and familiar with databases (SAP, SMARD)
  • Distinct sense for market trends and style

Professional requirements

Reliable, flexible and proactive, you have initiative, good organisation skills and are capable of working in a fast moving & changing environment. In addition, you are a strong leader with the ability to coordinate between various departments thanks to your good interpersonal and intercultural skills.


In addition, you possess excellent communications skills and are fluent in English, German and/or French.
