Position Summary

 


As a Demand and Supply Planner, you will ensure finished goods are available to meet customer demand, at the right place, right time in full and with right freshness whilst optimizing cost.


A day in the life of a Demand & Supply Planner

 


• Align the Demand plan via the Monthly Business Planning by providing quality inputs for the financial forecasts and interacting closely with Business Managers and Co-pilots
• Support mandators and customers to ensure accurate forecasts and consolidate the demand plan for the sales to 3rd party Businesses
• Maintain Data and Systems and continuously improve the quality and reliability of the demand plan
• Establish a Transport forecast
• Ensure a proper supply plan is in place to satisfy customer needs taking into account both the network complexity   and supply constraints
• Analyze and effectively communicate supply issues such as detailing impacts of proposed actions and related tradeoffs and ensuring actions and supply Plans are realistic and achievable
• Establish stock policies for Finished Goods
• Challenge manufacturing on regular basis to manage MOQ, frozen period, and Raw & Packaging inventory levels
• Deliver sustained supply performance via the organizing of regular reviews with Producers


What will make you successful

 


• University degree in Finance, Supply Chain or Economics
• At least 5 years of experience in Demand and Supply Planning and Operations Improvement within an FMGC company
• Excellent knowledge of the demand and supply planning processes and the systems associated (SAP APO)
• Exposure to customer service team
• Ability to anticipate, energize and engage with different stakeholders
• Fluent in English and French
