About the role

Our client is an important company in transport in Switzerland.

After a period of transformation marked by major changes to our customer's ERP and key financial processes, there are still areas for improvement and productivity opportunities to be implemented.

You will be in charge of organizing the implementation of process and organizational improvements in the finance department at our client. You will be responsible for influencing the adoption of new practices through change management and communication within and outside the finance department.

The role of the Continuous Improvement Expert is to apply process engineering and change management methods to the Finance team to ensure that identified opportunities are deployed, and that new opportunities are identified and managed as part of day-to-day operations.

It also involves training employees in the new processes and managing communications for the department.

Work tasks

  • Process Governance :
  • Completing and maintaining the Finance Process catalog
  • Uses process documentation to map and illustrate process improvements
  • Identifies process and organization changes to be implemented, within the overall governance
  • Analytics - KPI's :
  • Designs and maintains Finance performance KPI's and dashboards
  • Collects regular feedback from internal clients and Finance team members to prioritize and implement changes
  • Change Management :
  • Coordinates and trains Finance team members to implement changes
  • Communicates changes throughout the company
  • Organizes Finance department quarterly calls and annual Team building events
  • Coaches team members on customer -centric communication

We are looking for

  • Master degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, analyzing finance business processes and proposing improvement solutions
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing), French is a plus
  • Experience with Support and Customer Service functions in particular Financial Accouting and Controlling
  • We're looking for a collaborative, self-starter with a detail orientation who's also a great team player.
