Description

  • During you mission you will collaborate and engage with the Business Owners and other internal stakeholders in identifying challenges, opportunities and support the provision of business solutions for effective and efficient use of both human and financial resources
  • You will also support with subsequent Change Management activities and with the tracking of achieved benefits
  • You will prioritize and execute the financial process optimization and digitization, leveraging a wide range of tools from VBA to robotics process automation
  • As part of your mission you will support predictive and root cause analyses using financial and non-financial data to identify process improvement potential and support process re engineering in close collaboration with the IT Department by leveraging different tools such as advanced analytics capabilities to enable evidence-based and efficient optimization of available financial resources (financial and human resources)
  • You will supports the change management process resulting from financial process optimization and automation exercise and supports ensuring effective operationalization of new processes and systems by timely addressing the issues and bottlenecks post implementation. They will effectively collaborate, build and maintain professional business relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Also, you will perform the identification of the needs for financial business process improvements in collaboration with Business Processes Owners and other relevant stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration to create alignment around optimisation & automation priorities
  • You will execute and advance the finance transformation by introducing accelerated process optimization such as simplification and automation by leveraging a wide range of tools
  • In close collaboration with the business owners, perform identification of the needs, document the business requirements and design the processes, that serve as input for the process optimization. Collaborate with process owner, IT and other stakeholders to support during the development, testing and implementation of the business solution. After go-live, ensuring effective operationalization of the business solution

Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics or related field (essential)
  • Demonstrated working experience in the design and implementation of RPA software or similar rule-based automation technology (essential)
  • Demonstrated working experience in the design and implementation of intelligent automation technology (essential)
  • Knowledge of the internal control and financial reporting requirements to multiple stakeholders (government, multiple donors, etc.) (desirable)
  • Experience of working within an international or regional sphere of activity, particularly in the developing world (desirable)
  • Well-founded demonstrated professional experience supporting financial transformations from a business perspective (desirable)
