The Group Insurance Manager acts as the main point of contact for all questions related to Group Insurance, supports the yearly renewal of the various Group insurances including the local data collection, follows-up outstanding claims and continuously improves insurances processes.
Based in Mex, Switzerland, this position is a permanent contract under a 50% activity rate.
  • Central point of contact for all types of insurances, including Liability, Marine, Property insurances.
  • Ensure that Local Entities provide all required information on pending claims and safeguard the interests of the group.
  • Address technical questions from sites regarding coverage, including necessary amendments to policies to cover new risks.
  • Attend 2-3 insurance site surveys per year (mainly in Europe).
  • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of assets of local entities to be insured under Property insurance.
  • Ensure timely premium payments from local entities.
  • Coordinates the inclusion of new entities in the insurance programs.
  • Collaborate with Group Treasurer on strategic insurance decisions.

Required experiences and skills
  • At least 5 years insurance in a multinational or insurance company
  • Very strong business and financial acumen
  • Hands on capability to manage execution
  • Strong problem solving capability
  • Customer oriented, at ease in multi-cultural matrix environment

Education and Languages
  • Minimum Bachelor`s Degree in business or economics preferred
  • Additional training in insurance management a plus
  • French fluently, English fluently, other languages an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office environment and software

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
