The Department of Plant Molecular Biology is recruiting a laboratory research technician to support the research of Prof. Julia Santiago's group. This group focuses on cell signaling in plants related to plant development, using techniques ranging from biochemistry to genetics and cell biology.
Expected start date in position : 01.06.2024 or to be agreed
Contract length : 1 year (with possibility of renewal)
Activity rate : 50% (with possibility to increase the activity rate)
Workplace : Lausanne-Dorigny
Laboratory technician diploma or equivalent training.
Laboratory experience, knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Organizational and laboratory management skills.
Good knowledge of English (spoken and written). French would be an advantage.
Experience in plant biology research would be an advantage.
