You will be an active part of the Biotech Cell Culture and Upstream Technology group in state-of-the-art biotechnology facility and significantly contribute to a new integrated manufacturing process from vial thaw to secondary packaging.

The primary activities include but are not limited to:

  • Production of mammalian cell culture inoculum under cGMP for API manufacturing

  • Monitoring of process performance by using analytical instruments for required In-Process Control

  • Maintenance of process equipment and IPC equipment used for cell culture monitoring

  • Prepares GMP relevant documents (e.g. Batch Sheet's, SOP's, Solution Sheets, qualification documents)

  • Performs qualification and validation activities for equipments of the cell culture group


  • Bachelor of Science (FH) in relevant field

  • or apprenticeship as biological or chemical technician with relevant experience

Skills Required:

  • Experience in GMP environment highly desirable (including training and internship)

  • Fluent German and English language skills 

  • Knowledge of mammalian cell culture and small scale fermentation processes

  • Practical experience in cell culture and aseptic/sterile techniques

  • Technical writing capabilities

Competencies required for the role:

  • Team-oriented and open personality

  • Ability to work in a interdisciplinary team in collaboration with operation, validation and compliance groups

  • Strong willingness to learn and sense of autonomy

  • Commitment to work on weekends (continuous 2 shift production )
