VANS EMEA is looking for an exceptional Planner for ECOM to join our Digital Marketplace Planning and Trading team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as Digital Marketplace Planner will play a pivotal role in optimizing performance through highly effective Demand and Supply management. You will be responsible of monitoring performance and taking actions in alignment with our Financial Plan and Brand Strategy.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

• Translating the yearly plan into a bottom-up plan to identify potential risks and opportunities and being creative and bold in proposing actions.
• Developing and maintaining analysis and reporting to provide insights about the eCom performance and drive accurate forecasts.
• Analysing performance to define the promotional strategy to drive sales and increase CR%, in line with our marginality expectations.
• Interacting with all the different stakeholders to ensure consistency in the strategic and tactical execution.
• Building partnerships with financial counterparts to ensure consistent alignment on the plan and actions.
• Supporting the creation of new trading capabilities to enable the transition.
• Supporting the planning team to create and manage the Pre-season Plan to enable the seasonal assortment strategy.
• Collaborating with the planning team in the creation and maintenance of a WSSI tool to monitor the actual season performance and take actions to improve efficiency.
• Supporting inventory optimization through relevant and aligned trading actions.

Skills for Success

You should be an analytical, passionate and curious team player, with:

• 3+ years’ general experience in an analytical role or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Excellent understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills: accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with others as a part of a wider team.
• Language skills: fluent in English. Other languages will be considered as a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of any eCom platform will be considered as a plus.

A formal education and subsequent University bachelor’s or master’s degree are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
