Accounting Clerk

Zurich is currently hiring an Accounting Clerk to join their Finance Operations team! The position is an office-based role to be located at the Zurich office in Schaumburg, IL.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Processing, depositing and coding physical checks
• Research and reconciliation of historical outstanding balances in the general ledger related to check processing
• Collaborate across functions to resolve coding requirements and bring issues to resolution.
• Report and route undeliverable mail to various teams and assist in resolving missing or inaccurate addresses.
• Responsible for recording and updating logs
• Reconciliation responsibilities will be assigned as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Clerical area

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the clerical area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clerical experience related to accounting/finance in an office setting.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Must have excellent written and communication skills
