Logistics Associate

What this position is about - Purpose: This role ensures business continuity of the logistics information flow by monitoring, maintaining, and controlling multiple aspects of the logistics administration. Primary responsibilities are within SAP order-to-cash (O2C) focused on inbound management, stock control, order fulfillment, material master data, reversal logistics, process control, and invoicing in a SAP Power User role with an operational understanding of EDI. Responsible for Track & Trace compliance monitoring, problem-solving and reporting. Responsible for warehouse inventory management and main controller of SAP-WMS alignment. Maintenance of product setup in TME/Siebel. Primary backup for order fulfillment (other markets) and credit note process. The function has the right skill set to participate in logistics projects with internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

  • Stock and inbound management. Ownership of alignment between administrative stock in SAP/WMS/Siebel vs. physical stock at the warehouse locations weekly. Investigating misalignments and performing corrective actions in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Creating and reporting of stock reports. Monitoring stock returns and maintaining an overview of sellable vs. obsolete stock. Ownership of the yearly stock count process and execution. Backup of the destruction process.
  • Coordinate information on inbound shipments and ensure alignment between internal and external stakeholders. Process goods receipts for finished goods aligned with warehouse unloading confirmations within 48 hours of receipt. Ensure all inbound shipments are processed in line with Customs regulations, including full ownership and accountability of confirmation EMCS movements. Guarantee EMCS functionality by supporting upgrades in collaboration with Customs and IT
  • Material Master Data.Being responsible for portfolio material data accuracy, pricing setup, and reporting.

Responsible for maintaining an accurate portfolio for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. GS1 and Brandbank), timely request of pricing setup for SKU’s as well as ownership of internal performance reports. Ensure and safeguard the alignment of master data between systems and departments.

  • Track & Trace Compliancy. Being responsible for operational track & trace compliance and supporting process development in departmental and warehouse process flows. Daily follow-up and validation to ensure 100% T&T compliance. Participating in meetings organized by Global Compliance to ensure alignment with the latest developments. Close collaboration with other functions tasked with track and trace responsibilities to facilitate best practice sharing across the Benelux cluster.
  • SAP O2C. Obtain and maintain PowerUser functional expertise to ensure operational continuity in SAP order-to-cash functionalities in sales orders, deliveries, goods movement, invoicing and credit processing. Ensure EDI data maintenance and functionality in cooperation with IT.
  • Continuous improvement. Committed to driving process improvement and projects by actively developing and applying new tools to support continuous improvements and digitalization with internal and external stakeholders. This requires understanding and integrating the latest available toolsets into practice in collaboration with local teams and global support teams.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

  • Higher Professional Education (HBO Bachelor)
  • Work experience in logistics with strong IT literacy (preferably 3 years or more)
  • PC literacy: MS Excel (important to have a very good knowledge), Word, Outlook, SAP or another ERP
  • Fluency in English and Dutch both written and verbal
