The role:
Under the supervision of the Head of Education and in close collaboration with the other staff members of the Education Unit, the Student Office Assistant is contributing to the admission process of candidates to our Master programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Education in the development and the organization of the Master Programmes from admissions to graduation.
- Administer the admission process and the registration of students.
- Provide support in the organisation of the academic curriculum – liaising with members of the Faculty and Teaching Assistants for the organization of courses and extra-curricular activities.
- Assume the daily administrative functioning of the student office (payments, room bookings, travel arrangements for Professors and experts, correspondences with students and parent institutions, etc.).
- Prepare the necessary documents (calendars, transcripts, students and teaching guides, etc.)
- Be the focal point & provide guidance to current and prospective students.
- Support the organisation of events related to Master programmes.
- Ensure reception in the headquarters.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree / administrative diploma or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in an institutional and/or academic environment
- Excellent knowledge of administrative processes.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office tools and computer systems (Oracle, Moodle, Excel) or other technologies.
- Good knowledge of the academic or international environment
- Excellent written and spoken French and English
- Good communication skills with partners and colleagues, diplomacy and politeness
- Customer service orientation
- Team player
- Organization, time and priority management
