Advanced Quality Supervisor

TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

Job description:

• To ensure required level of AQE activities output for his AQE team during LEANPD projects until PPAP approval

• To work continuously on development of his AQE members to fulfill the LEANPD deliverables and automotive standards (AIAG/VDA) with target to exceed Customer expectations

• To work on the LEANPD improvements together with the special task force team for LEANPD.

• Responsible to manage the AQE resources for the incoming LEANPD projects

• To work on special LEANPD projects and AQE strategy projects

• To follow up with the team yearly AQE targets completion

• Responsible to check new or modified QMPs in scope of AQE responsibility

• To ensure Lessons Learned processing and implementation within his AQE team

• To participate in Customer meetings to present quality related tasks during the LEANPD project and to ensure successful audits for NPD in scope of AQE team

• Support Safe Launch for projects to ensure 0 customer complaints before hand over the project to manufacturing site

• Substitution of the AQE Manager, Supervisor AQE and AQE Engineers

• Managing technical information to the management and employees, e.g. trainings, seminars, lectures, software, quality standards

• Collaboration in introducing and training of new quality and engineering related software packages

• Training and servicing standards in APIS (FMEA), QS-STAT (capability studies), Solara (MSA), Lessons Learned Database, etc.

• Supporting the implementation of general quality standards in Engineering departments

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in automotive and quality related activities

• Knowledge of QA tools and standards

• Leadership exposure

• Extensive experience in working with multicultural and cross functional teams

• Fluency in English
