The Remote Sales Rep is an office-based role that is designed to enhance accessibility to product and service solutions for our customers and thus improve the overall customer experience by a technology enabled, innovative remote selling capability. The incumbent is specifically growing & maintaining sales revenue and supporting the sales execution in instrumentation in a number of selected accounts.  He / She is part of the overall Commercial team in his / her division and country and works closely with the Field Sales & Marketing Team. The position reports directly to the Sales Manager.
A Day in the Life
• Market Analytics and Market Research around customers, competitors and general market trends• Identify Target Accounts, Opportunities & Customer Priorities, build solid Account Plan and identify & advance Key Stakeholders, Champions and Decision Makers• Promote assigned product portfolio remotely using all available technology• Lead price & contract negotiations• Deliver on-going product servicing by delivering accurate product information and forecasting and active supply chain management• Conduct regular Business Reviews with customers• Ensure repeat purchase orders by understanding customer buying decisions making process & patterns • Improve submission quality by preparing high quality supporting documents• Support pricing strategy development, assist in submission• Utilize all available sales tools to maximize sales efficiency (SFDC)

Must haves 

• Business fluent in German / French and fluent in English
• Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning and time management
• Completed professional training, preferably in the medical or technical field
• Ability to quickly "grasp business / healthcare environment"
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong understanding capabilities, collaboration potential, innovation capabilities and achievement drive 
• Consultative interaction skills with customers, prospective customers, and fellow employees
• Strong negotiation skills & ability to close deals with customers
• Strong presentation / communication skills over the phone 

Nice to haves 

• Bachelor degree in a business relevant discipline 
• 2+ years of remote sales experience in Medical Devices or High-Tech environment - field sales experience or customer service experience 
• Experience with customer relationship management software and SAP
