Clinical Data Assistant (Part time)

The Clinical Data Assistant is responsible for the data entered into a database and/or Case Report Form (CRF).  Ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of CRF data entry so that it meets the standards of quality expected for reporting to Sponsors and regulatory bodies.  Assists the Data Manager in study specific procedures for External Studies, Celerion Standard, Sponsor Provided Electronic Data Capture (EDC) , Sponsor Provided Paper CRFs.

Essential Functions

• Perform accurate data entry and verification for study specific External Studies, Celerion Standard, Sponsor Provided EDC, and Sponsor Provided Paper CRFs (if applicable)
• Work with Clinical Data Manager for External Studies to create a working copy of the completed paper CRFs to ensure accurate and consistent data entry
• Collate source data and signed disposition pages into final CRFs
• Archive data management documentation including CRFs
• Perform standard data management quality control steps 

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses

• High School Diploma or GED/A Level required 1-2 years data entry or related experience required
• Proficiency in MS Office applications required
• Typing speed of 40-50 wpm required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Excellent organizational skills required
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Excellent attention to detail required

This is a part time (variable) status position that will work 20-25 hours per week with a flexible schedule between the hours of 8a-5p.
