Senior Test Automation Engineer/Lead

For our branch in Lugano (Switzerland), we are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer/Lead to join an international project in the Banking industry.

You will be working along with an international Team, participating in all phases of the development lifecycle and being responsible for implementing the testing strategy for innovative applications. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, implement, and maintain the test automation architecture
• Lead the end-to-end process of planning, designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks for API testing, encompassing RESTful APIs, microservices, and other backend systems
• Review, test and debug team members’ code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues found during test runs
• Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems
• Oversee the execution of automated tests, analyze results, and report on test progress and quality metrics
• Identify and prioritize issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks for API testing
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc
• Knowledge of Postman, SoapUI
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Hands on experience on Tosca tool would be considere a plus
• Fluent English and Italian
