An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maître d'Hôtel to join our team on an amazing Campus of one of our prestigious clients.

Our F&B services compromise of several outlets, different dining rooms, fantastic open terrasses and a roof top. A range of services provided throughout the day is regularly completed by high-end services in the evening time, including some weekends.

Votre travail

Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  •  At least 2 years of experience as a Head Waitress/Waiter or Supervisor in a high-end hospitality environment or in a successfully running restaurant (medium or big-sized)
  • Minimum two years experience as Maître d'Hôtel or assistant Maître d'Hôtel in the banqueting department (weddings, conferences, dinners, etc.) in a luxury establishment (4 or 5 star Hotel)
  • Actively working in banqueting operations (set up, service, client service, coordination, etc.)
  • Previous experience in training, coaching and motivating the team
  • Very good knowledge of drinks and classic cocktails, trendy food; good basics in oenology
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written, with customers, staff and suppliers alike
  • Strong leadership skills while working in team
  • High level of awareness and ability to anticipate guest needs
  • Directly intervene and participate in the service activities in order to guarantee quality in the service and client's satisfaction.
  • Supervise and coordinate the service during the multiple functions.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to share these with the team
  • Good knowledge and ease working with Windows Pack Office
  • Check that the systems figures are correct with the appropriate coding
  • Check that the dayly reports are correct and complete
  • Recording financial data and grades appropriately
  • Breaking down the various costs 
  • Monitoring budgetary compliance 
  • Carrying out regular reporting on the activity of all outlets 
  • Monitoring of variances between planned and actual targets and proposing corrective actions if necessary 
  • Management of time recording systems 
  • Checking the conformity of inventories, stocks (including the processing of delivery notes)
  • Preparation of internal invoices 
  • Flexibility for working on the week-end and evenings
