Requirements:

We are seeking a passionate Kitchen Sous-Chef to join our Kitchen team. He/she will report to our Executive Chef.

To be eligible for the position, you need to hold a CFC culinary arts diploma (CFC Cuisinier-ère) or equivalent with preferably 5 years of professional Michelin-starred experience. You need to possess an excellent culinary technique and solid knowledge and tour de main in Pastry.

Truly passionate, you are creative, rigorous and continuously improving. With excellent communication, organizational and IT skills, you are able to prioritize and effectively manage your workload. You have knowledge of HACCP, are flexible in terms of work hours and always act as a team player. You are fluent in English (mandatory) and, ideally, in French, you are eligible to work in Switzerland and are available as of June.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Sous-Chef, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Master the recipes and techniques to prepare and serve the proposed menus.
  • Use kitchen equipment in a correct and safe manner and keep the work station clean and organized.
  • Ensure the organization of the storage areas and facilitate regular inventories.
  • Meet quality and food standards to ensure student satisfaction, prevent wastage and ensure strict compliance with the HACCP.
  • Assist the Kitchen Instructors in guiding and supporting the Kitchen students and trainees throughout the service.
