Description and Requirements

The SSG (Solutions & Services Group) Sales Operations Manager supporting ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group) at Lenovo oversees all daily operations of the assigned services sales teams. This is an advisory role to the SSG ISG Sales Manager and carries the responsibility for accurate business tracking, timely review of sales KPIs and governance of the business management system in place with the respective leadership team in NA and on WW level.

This role is responsible for ensuring that the sales teams operate with the most efficient setup and within the correct processes to maximize their productivity. The role is also in charge of aligning behavior with GEO and WW direction, fulfilling the need for harmonization and cohesion in go-to-market strategies and sales activities.

The Sales Operations Manager is not a supporting function. It is instead the lead within the sales teams in charge of directing sales execution and ensuring that performance is tracked in accordance with the intent of the corporation’s strategic view. This role ensures that all sales teams act in unison to achieve Lenovo’s sales vision and strategy with a clear efficient approach.

These tasks in particular are recurring:

  • KPIs reviews and tracking for Sales leader.
  • Pipeline review and hygiene.
  • Sales cadences.
  • Forecasts.
  • Quota and territory assignment.
  • I&C results validation and approval
  • Providing and updating the respective information e.g. the MBR decks for NA and WW
  • Market blueprint governance.

In addition, Sales Operations Managers are asked to support AD HOC:

  • Support business transformation initiatives.
  • Project manage NA SSG ISG initiatives and help to set right requirements to the BI team.

Sales Operations Managers are considered to be SMEs on end-to-end operations, and they act as the first point of contact for all sales and sales leaders in matters of sales processes.

The role requires constant education on tools, data structures and quoting processes.

The sales operations manager can be tasked to drive NA level initiatives in Geo and support worldwide initiatives too. For instance, segment inspections, or specific go to market programs.

The sales operations manager is also in charge or evaluating and reviewing all SPIFFs initiatives and work in close cooperation with I&C to track progress of such SPIFFs and validate results.

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experiences in data analytical position
  • Experience in business and sales supporting role
  • Superior MS Excel skills
  • Understanding and or working knowledge of relational databases
  • Advanced Presentations skills / Power Point
  • Mature personality, able to work independently, strong sense of customer service
  • Fluent English is required and other language is a plus
