Main Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Delta V specialist with experience in the pharmaceutical industry whose responsilibities will be to:

• Provide automation support to CQV Process team during commissioning activities for various process equipment (Upstream, Downstream & Support).
• Troubleshoot automation-related issues and devise appropriate corrective actions.
• Implement end-to-end automation modification changes in Emerson DeltaV (v14.3) DCS, adhering to established change management protocols.
• Execute migration of automation system projects from PLC/SCADA systems to DeltaV.
• Assist process CQV team in executing integrated test protocols for process equipment during commissioning.
• Identify root causes of issues in the DeltaV system, propose fixes, and implement them.
• Issue automation modification reports and oversee the implementation of automation changes.
• Document and retest automation changes thoroughly.

Required Profile:

• Graduate engineering degree in industrial automation, robotics, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience with Emerson DeltaV system in the Life Science sector.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of Biotech processes and equipment across Upstream, Downstream, Media/Buffer, and CIP areas.
• Prior experience working in the biotech/pharma industry within a GMP environment.
• Preferably 3 or more years of experience with PLC/SCADA systems.
• Fluent in business English; proficiency in French is advantageous
• EU or Swiss nationality, or valid Swiss working permit
