Electronics Engineer

MISSION

As a member of the Technologies and Innovation group, the Electronics Engineer will be involved in design and development of high value medical devices in the fields of Urology, Pain Therapy and Dental prevention. The mission also includes test and documentation in compliance with global regulatory standards.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

  • Participate in all phases of medical device development for electrical components and electronic boards.
  • Participate to system architecture definition and create electrical design.
  • Perform and document system integration tests.
  • Participate in product’s worldwide certification (Safety, EMC, Radio).
  • Generate manufacturing documentation for electronic components.
  • Ensure design transfer to supplier and production.
  • Conduct external development.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary R&D team, in close interaction with production, supply chain and quality departments.

PROFILE

  • Minimum of Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of work experience as an Electronics Engineer in the medical device field or similar industry.
  • Experience in simulation, design, development and troubleshooting of analog-digital mixed signal circuits including sensors, actuators, DC/DC, OPAMP, MCU
  • Understanding of electrical engineering standards such as IEC 60601-1 or similar
  • Knowledge of schematic entry with Altium designer or similar CAD tool
  • Experience with Optoelectronics
  • Experience in PCB layout would be a plus
  • Experience in Power electronics would be a plus
  • Demonstrated design experience with medical device development according to IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-2-22, ISO 14971 would be a plus
  • Fluent in French, excellent English
  • Team player with strong verbal/written communication aptitude
